BODRUM
South Aegean's prettiest resort town, Bodrum, has many things to offer. With a population that skyrockets in summertime, Bodrum is a center of entertainment with many bars and discos that throb until and even past dawn. However, this does not necessarily mean that natural beauty is not also present - and the best places to swim are but a short drive away - along an unspoiled coastline, near rolling hills covered in pine forests. It has a major yacht harbor and a port for ferries to Kos, a closeby Greek island. The main attraction to visit is the Castle of Bodrum, which houses the museum of Underwater Archeology and the Mausoleum - the tomb of King Mausolus, one of the even ancient wonders of the world.
